Version 0.19.17 - Planning Mode

AI now plans before making changes for more accurate results

Version 0.19.17

December 11, 2025

Introducing Planning Mode. Before executing a task, the AI now outlines its approach first. You'll see what it intends to do, which tools it plans to use, and how it will tackle the problem. This gives you a chance to course-correct before any work begins - catch misunderstandings early and guide the AI toward better results.

Visual transitions make it clear when the AI is in planning mode versus execution mode. The switch is smooth and intuitive, so you always know what state you're in.

This release also adds a Beta Release Channel. If you want early access to new features before they hit the stable release, you can opt into beta builds from settings. And for security, we've moved authentication storage to your system's native keychain using SafeStorage encryption - credentials are now protected by OS-level security instead of local file encryption.
